Santiago, March. Everis Foundation Chile will carry out a new version of the ACTITUD 2019 Prize to promote entrepreneurship, innovation and talent. In this opportunity, the contest is aimed at high impact technological, management, social or environmental projects, in the categories: “New Business Models in the Digital Economy,” “Industrial Technologies,” and “Biotechnology and Health.”
Those interested may register in any of these categories from March 12 to May 1 of this year. The contest will end in July of this year, when the winner for Chile is announced, and is awarded a round trip to the international final of the Everis Awards Global in Spain, which will be held next November.
At this final, the winner will have the chance to connect for work and entrepreneurship with the attendees to the event, in addition to participating for the grand prize of 60,000 euros. This award will be accompanied by the mentorship of the Everis Foundation experts.
“We are very excited to return to Chile with the ACTITUD Prize, since last year we had a very successful call and we were able to get to know interesting and innovative projects. So, this year we invite you again to be part of this meeting, which this time has the novelty that the winner of Chile can travel to the grand final in Spain and participate for the 60,000 euros that Everis Foundation has for the implementation of the final winning project,” mentions Francisco Pecorella, Innovation Director at Everis Chile.
According to the rules, the category “New Business Models in the Digital Economy” is aimed at projects based on high-impact digital business models that take advantage of the opportunities offered by new technologies.
While the category “Biotechnology and Health” is designed for projects based on the application of biotechnology and life sciences in general, to the development of drugs, new therapies or food production. Projects that incorporate technological or computer developments in the form of medical devices or “eHealth” solutions are also considered.
For those who apply for the category “Industrial Technologies,” their projects must be based on high-impact technological innovation applied to product and services development in areas such as tourism, industry, banking, insurance, telecommunications, logistics, distribution, energy, infrastructure or consumption in general.
